Why are we Steelers fans? Why are we Steelers haters? It's in our blood. It's in our ancestry. If we were born at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers, it's only natural that when you cut us, we bleed back and gold. If you were born a little more to the north however, say in God's snow machine, you traditionally drip orange and brown. Demographics and geography make up a huge part of not only our NFL fanatic makeup, but our sport fan makeup as a whole. It's something that draws us together without the violence that can get in the way of some of the other world problems. Though we may differ in our political views, religious beliefs, education, race, or ethnic background, we are all drawn together by one thing, sports. We love it, and always will, and come game day we all may not bleed the same color, but we bleed colors of the rainbow of the team we support. I bleed black and gold, what do you bleed?
